ZIL-433362 is an updated family of classic trucks belonging to the middle class. This model was designed in 2003. In the same period, its release began. Thanks to the hydraulic assistance (distributor and cylinder), the steering has been significantly lightened. A high level of comfort is maintained through lighting, ventilation and heating systems.

ZIL-433362 is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox with one reverse speed. The transmission of torque to it is carried out using a dry friction clutch basket. The cardan system includes a chassis with two shafts and an intermediate support mount, united by articulated crosses. Power transmission to the axle shaft is carried out by means of a single-stage driving hypoid axle and a bevel differential.

The car is equipped with a classic proven braking system, which includes three circuits. A similar mechanism has proven itself perfectly on previous modifications. The system includes:

  • service brake with pneumatic control of dual-circuit hydraulics for all wheels, including drum pads. Additionally, anti-blocking is installed;

The chassis used with road trains are also equipped with a special combined crane for connecting the braking systems of the trailer.

The supporting structure is represented by a frame made of two steel all-stamped side members with a channel section. The longitudinal parts are connected by crossbars in five places.

Due to the presence of dependent axle suspension, a smooth ride is ensured. There are semi-elliptical springs at the back and front. The front pair also has hydraulic double-sided telescopic shock absorbers. The rear springs are additionally reinforced with sheets that increase their strength.

The elements of the car's electrical circuit are powered by 12 V and connected in a single-wire circuit.
The equipment is additionally completed with:

  1. pre-heater, which allows starting the engine in cold weather;
  2. insulation cover;
  3. recoil bar;
  4. improved ignition circuit with microprocessor control.

A wide range of add-ons is available for ZIL-433362. The most popular among them are:

  • emergency repair modifications equipped with a diesel generator set with a repair shop and an additional supply of fuel. The unique features of the chassis allow additional boxes with tools and welding to be installed under the bottom. For repairs in the field, such versions are indispensable;
  • tankers, garbage trucks and sanitary equipment;
  • hydraulic lifts used in the repair and installation of structures, buildings, transport facilities and urban power supply systems;
  • street cleaning modifications (salt and sand spreaders, washing, watering and others);

The ZIL-130 truck is one of the most successful models of its range, the production of which began in 1952. The fuel consumption of ZIL 130 per 100 km is an urgent issue, because this machine is still often used for farm work. Vehicle specifications

ZIL design

For its time the base ZIL-130 was a fairly powerful car, and this is precisely why the fact that such a high fuel consumption of the ZIL 130 per 100 km is connected... The car has an 8-cylinder engine. All modifications of this model have power steering and a 5-speed gearbox. It uses A-76 fuel for movement.

How much fuel does ZIL consume?

ZIL is a dump truck, so it consumes a lot of fuel. Fuel consumption by ZIL 130 - 31.5 liters according to official data. This figure is indicated in all documentation, however, it corresponds to reality only when the car is relatively unloaded and in good condition. And yet, it is more interesting to know which real expense fuel for ZIL 130.

Increase in the norm

There are circumstances in which the average fuel consumption at ZIL increases for every hundred kilometers.

Such a circumstance may be the time of the year.

It's no secret that in winter, when it's especially cold, the engine "eats" more fuel than in the warm season.

This is due to the fact that the engine needs to warm up and part of the energy is spent on maintaining the temperature.

And now really about how costs increase:

  • in the southern regions the change is insignificant - only about 5%;
  • in the temperate climate zone, there is an increase in fuel consumption by 10%;
  • a little to the north, the consumption will already grow to 15%;
  • in the Far North, in Siberia - up to 20% increase.

With these data at hand, it is easy to calculate what is the consumption of gasoline at the ZIL 130 in winter. For example, if you count (take the rate of 31.5 cubic meters as a basis), then for a kilometer distance in a temperate climate in winter the car will spend at least 34.5 cubic meters of gasoline.

Linear fuel consumption also increases with an increase in mileage - we will wear out the engine. Here the statistics are as follows:

  • new car - mileage up to 1000 km - an increase of 5%;
  • with the run of each new thousand km - an increase of 3%.

Fuel consumption varies depending on the terrain you are driving. It's no secret that the fuel consumption of ZIL 130 on the highway is less than the norm, and usually amounts to 28-32 liters for every 100 km... On the highway, you have to stop less, the road is better there, you can gain stable speed and not overload the engine. Cars of this brand most often move along the highway, because trucks of this type are designed to move goods over long distances.

As the drivers say, the fuel consumption rates for ZIL 130 in the city are increasing significantly. The dump truck has to constantly maneuver, stand at traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, observe a not so high speed that it could develop on the highway, and therefore the consumption of gasoline is growing. In urban conditions, it is 38-42 liters per 100 kilometers.

Fuel economy

The prices for gasoline and diesel do not stand still - they rise every day. Drivers, in order to save their money, have to come up with special tricks to save money. It “eats up” a lot, and the transition to gas will be ineffective. Some of them are used for ZIL-130.

  • ZIL consumes fuel without significant increases, which is in good technical condition, especially the condition of the engine, carburetor, vehicle ignition system.
  • Fuel consumption can be reduced by taking a few minutes to warm up the engine in winter.
  • The driving style of a person behind the wheel can also affect the fuel consumption of the car: you should drive more calmly, avoid sudden starts and braking. Consumption is also lower when driving faster.
  • If possible, avoid busy streets in the city - gasoline consumption on them increases by 15-20%.
