There are 62 apartments in the West tower, and 129 apartments in the East tower. The area varies from 55 to 2300 square meters. meters. Ceilings from 3.5 meters. It is possible to install "Smart House" equipment by the developer. The cost of apartments in the primary market starts from 33.5 million rubles. The average price of a "square" is 680 thousand rubles.

Description. MFC "Federation Tower" includes skyscrapers "West" and "East". The project implementation started in 2003. The first skyscraper was completed in 2009, and the construction of the second lasted from 2007 to 2017. The base of the complex was a foundation based on a massive concrete slab. 14 thousand cubic meters were spent on its filling. meters of concrete. The skyscrapers are united by a six-storey stylobate. The space between the towers is covered with a transparent dome. In the atrium zone, the total height of the space between the towers (from the dome to the 4th underground floor) is 54.5 meters. There are four entrance groups - separate for office employees and apartment owners.

Tower "West" - 62-storey, 242 meters high. On the 1st floor - a lobby, from 2 to 46 floors there are offices, from 49 to 59 floors - apartments. On the 60th floor, there is the Nebo Wellness Club, above - the Sixty restaurant managed by the Ginza Project.

"Vostok" - a 97-storey tower at 374 meters. This is the second tallest skyscraper in Europe (the first is St. Petersburg's Lakhta Center). On the 1st floor - a lobby, from 2 to 68 floors - offices, from 69 to 86 floors - apartments. 89 floor - club. There is a lobby, a restaurant "Sakhalin" of the WRF holding, as well as a bar, a gym and a cardio room. Also on the 89th floor is an observation deck - Panorama 360, equipped with ten interactive zones. On the 90-97 floors - penthouses.

There is a shopping gallery on four underground levels. At the first underground level - transitions to other Moscow City towers and the Afimall City shopping center

Developer and team. The Mirax Group of Sergei Polonsky began to build the Federation Tower. In 2009, the developer found himself in a difficult position with bank loans and froze the construction site. In 2013, the assets were acquired by the AEON corporation owned by Roman Trotsenko. The construction of the complex was completed by CJSC Federation Tower, which is part of it.

The architectural solution was developed by Sergey Tchoban and Peter Schweger. The designer of the project was the American company Thornton Tomasetti. Construction technology was overseen by the Turner Construction Company. The general contractor is the Turkish company Renaissance Construction. Facade glazing - Chinese concern Yuanda.

Technology and engineering. The facades are implemented using the technology of structural glazing with double-glazed windows filled with argon. The surface of the glass reflects ultraviolet light, maintaining the optimal temperature inside the premises. A hidden facade cleaning system CoxGomyl from the Australian company Cox was installed.

Security is provided by several systems: security, fire, for monitoring the state of engineering devices, for remote access control and video surveillance. There are fire elevators for evacuation of people and lifting of emergency personnel. The fire escape has emergency lighting and smoke ventilation. There is a heat recovery system, an automated system for pumping excess heat and cold from one part of the towers to another, sensors that respond to changes in temperature, light and the presence of people.

An automated ventilation and air conditioning system is in operation. There are 67 high-speed elevators from Schindler and the German concern ThyssenKrupp. Among the features are the twin elevator systems with two high-speed elevator cabins in one shaft. Both cabins move and have different speeds: the top one is 8 m/s and the bottom one is 6 m/s. In the stylobate, inclined elevators (glass cabins) are installed, moving at an angle of 10 degrees. Separate groups of elevators serve the apartment and office parts.

Place. The Federation Tower complex is located in the Moscow City International Business Center, 200 meters from the Delovoy Tsentr metro station. To the "International" and "Exhibition" - 400 meters. Not far from the embankment and the botanical garden of the First Moscow State Medical University.

On the 95th floor of the Vostok Tower, at a height of 374 meters from the ground, the last cubic meter of concrete is poured into the monolithic frame of the Federation Tower business complex, which will become the tallest building in Europe.

This skyscraper has no analogues in any country in the world: it is equipped with high-speed elevators, an automated ventilation and air conditioning system, energy-efficient windows that ensure a comfortable stay in the room, and other innovative technologies.

The General Director of CJSC "Federation Tower" spoke about the scope of work carried out and the uniqueness of the complex in an interview with a correspondent of the portal of the Moscow Construction Complex Mikhail Smirnov.

- Mikhail Yuryevich, what works have already been completed, what still needs to be completed and in what time frame?

We have completed monolithic work on the construction of the "Federation Tower". In March 2015, the skyscraper will be fully glazed. In September, the creation of the top of the tower will be completed, and in December we plan to complete work on engineering systems. We plan to hand over the skyscraper in the summer of 2016.

- How many people are working at this construction site today and in what mode?

"Federation Tower"

The construction of the Federation Tower is carried out around the clock, without breaks and days off. Builders work in three shifts. Approximately 850 people work at the facility daily.

- How is the safety of builders ensured when working at height?

Strict safety regulations apply to any construction site. And building a skyscraper is no exception.

All builders, prior to being allowed to work at height, are instructed in safety precautions. Helmets, special shoes, bright markings on clothes - this is just a small list of mandatory safety measures. Temporary restrictive fences, barriers and handrails were erected along the perimeter of the floors under construction, the unglazed floors were covered with a mounting grid. A number of specialists necessarily use climbing equipment and insurance.

The general contractor for the construction of the Federation Tower is the Turkish company Renaissance Construction, one of the leaders in the field of construction with extensive experience in the construction of high-rise buildings. We trust their professionalism. Nevertheless, specialists from Mosgosstroynadzor (part of the Moscow Construction Complex. - Ed.) Constantly monitor construction.

How long does it take to build one floor of a skyscraper? And what is the height limit for the construction of such a tower, given the existing technologies, norms and rules?

The rate of construction of the "Federation Tower" is three floors per month. There are only 100 floors in this building, five of them are underground. 95 ground floors of the building. Modern construction technologies, including monolithic ones, make it possible today to erect tall buildings of any complexity. For example, Saudi Arabia announced the start of construction of the 1,000-meter-high Kingdom Tower skyscraper, which will be the tallest in the world.

Today, the largest skyscraper in the world is the Burj Khalifa in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), it looks like a stalagmite. Its height is 828 meters.

The tallest buildings in the world

I can also cite as an example the John Hancock Center in the American city of Chicago. It is a 100-story skyscraper whose main feature is its hollow structure, resembling a large quadrangular column. As of January 2008, it was the 5th tallest in the US and 18th in the world. Its height reaches 457.2 meters.

These buildings were built using completely different systems and technologies. Idea, concept - the basis of the project. And then - the design and construction, which largely depend on the terrain, the stability of the platform. Even climatic features affect the project.

The norms for the construction of all skyscrapers are more or less similar and at the same time differ. But, as you know, one of the main requirements for such skyscrapers is to ensure stability. There are many examinations, checks, tests. For example, to check the stability under wind loads, the design of the project on a reduced scale is “purged” in special laboratories.

It is believed that the "Federation Tower" by the time all the work is completed will be the most durable skyscraper in the world. This is true?

Indeed, the Federation Tower is the most durable skyscraper. And here's why: for its construction, B90 class concrete was used, which is twice as strong as usual. The decision to build the flagship tower from just such concrete was made at the design stage of the facility. We are sure that if any object from the outside hits the building, nothing will happen to the tower if any force hits it. I would also like to note that our builders, when carrying out monolithic works, used only those materials that were agreed upon in the project. Quality, safety, reliability - this is the main thing. Federation Tower is a flagship project in every sense.

The basis for it is the foundation, which is based on a massive concrete slab. 14 thousand cubic meters were spent on pouring the slab. meters of concrete, which is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. This concrete would be enough to fill five football fields with a layer of one meter!

Another example: the stability of both buildings (the “Federation Tower” complex consists of the “East” and “West” towers. - Ed.) Is ensured by a powerful concrete core, which has walls 1.4 meters at the base, as well as 25 perimeter columns penetrating both towers from the foundation to the top floor. Each column at the base is 2 x 1.4 meters. Every 25-30 floors in the Federation Tower there are outrigger floors (metal structures that serve to redistribute the load from higher floors to lower ones. - Ed.). They give buildings extra stability.

I want to emphasize that the most stringent building standards in the world were applied during the construction of the Federation Tower. Control of construction technologies is carried out by the Moscow State Construction Supervision Authority, as well as a number of leading construction research institutes: the Research Institute of Concrete and Reinforced Concrete, the Research Institute of Building Physics, the Central Research and Design Institute of Building Metal Structures. Melnikov, State Specialized Design Institute.

- And from the point of view of security, the Federation Tower can also be considered a leader?

Unconditional. The business complex has several security systems of its own: security, fire protection, a system for monitoring the state of engineering equipment (water supply, air conditioning, ventilation, heating, lighting, etc.), a remote access control system (observance of the mode of movement at the facility) and video surveillance.

The Federation Tower has fire elevators that are designed both for evacuating people and for raising emergency services in an emergency. They continue to operate even when all other elevators in the skyscraper have stopped. There is a fire escape equipped with emergency lighting and smoke ventilation.

The central control room is located on the minus first floor of the Federation Tower. Monitors occupy a whole wall there, it is there that information from all systems and sensors enters. Specialists are on call around the clock.

Fire system sensors respond to any changes in temperature and smoke. And the operator on duty in the control room makes a decision based on the incoming information, whether this is a regular situation or an emergency. If necessary, voice and sound warning systems are activated.

I note that the Federation Tower has several security zones. These are premises intended for the evacuation of people. In general, the entire complex is divided into several fire zones. In an emergency, even building structures (walls and ceilings built using special fire-resistant materials), a deluge curtain (a water fire extinguishing system) and automatic fire curtains will become a barrier to the spread of fire in an emergency - they are not visible in an inactive state, they are usually mounted in ceiling, are used in elevator areas and transitions.

Hundreds of security cameras have been installed. Video monitoring is carried out in common areas - in adjacent territories, in galleries, halls, elevator zones, etc.

- And how many elevators are there in the Federation Tower?

TWIN series elevator

There are 67 elevators in our complex. This is more than the tallest skyscraper in the world, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, which has 57 elevators! Their average speed in Federation Tower is eight meters per second.

Tell us more about the facade of the complex, which is completely made of glass. It is known that unusually wide double-glazed windows "to the floor", about 2.5 meters high, were used, opening a panoramic view of Moscow.

The windows in the Federation Tower are the highest and widest. There are no crossbars and other structures that interfere with the panoramic view. This facility uses the latest glazing systems, specially developed by specialists from a Chinese company, the world leader in the production of glass facades. Double-glazed windows have increased strength, which ensures maximum safety for people, and also have increased noise insulation, reflect the sun's rays, and protect against ultraviolet radiation.

In addition, they are energy efficient and maintain the optimum temperature in the building. This means that in summer the glass does not allow the air in the room to overheat, and in winter it reduces the outflow of heat to the outside, maintaining the microclimate of an apartment or office. This was achieved due to the fact that the facade of the building, for the first time in Russia, was made using the technology of structural glazing with double-glazed windows filled with argon (a colorless, tasteless and odorless gas. - Ed.).

On the facade of the Vostok tower, for example, more than nine thousand double-glazed windows were used, each of which is individual and has its own serial number. The piece approach to the production of double-glazed windows is due to two factors - large facade glazing used for the first time in Russia, as well as the architectural form of the building, tapering upwards, which provides for facades of different sizes depending on the floor.

By the way, the facades of the Vostok tower are assembled at a rate of three floors per month.

- Will there be any difficulties when cleaning the facades?

The innovative hidden facade cleaning system, which will be installed for the first time in Russia at the Federation Tower, will completely replace industrial climbers.

This system is built into the structure of the skyscraper itself and is absolutely invisible in everyday life. During the washing of the skyscraper, a special system of “mini-cranes” is advanced from the roof of the building, which allows you to quickly deliver equipment and organize washing of facades in any of the most inaccessible parts of the tower. Such a replacement for the “landing force” of industrial climbers already familiar to everyone is one of the signs of a civilized skyscraper, for which regular washing is a sign of good taste. And for the owners of offices and apartments - a guarantee of always clean windows, which is fundamentally important for people who choose the "Federation Tower" for the best panoramic view in Moscow.

- How is the ventilation and air conditioning system of the building?

The Federation Tower has its own automated ventilation and air conditioning system. Additionally, each apartment can be equipped with Smart Home technology.

Energy saving in the business complex "Federation" is based on the most modern technological developments. The Federation Tower uses a unique for Russia heat recovery (return) system. This energy-saving technology is based on the principle of reusing the heat of the building's exhausted exhaust air to heat the fresh supply air. This saves a significant amount of energy.

In addition, a building automation system allows excess heat and cold to be pumped from one part of the building to another, ensuring minimal energy consumption. This was made possible by the installation of variable pressure hydraulic systems. In addition, there are special sensors throughout the complex that detect changes in temperature, light, and the presence of people and respond to these changes.

All these technologies are used in the Federation Tower business complex and are unique for the Russian market. Our system has already proved its effectiveness: during the heat wave in the summer of 2013 and 2014, we did not receive a single complaint from our tenants and residents.

- I wonder what record low temperature a thermometer can fall at a height of the 90th floor?

At the height of the 95th floor, the air temperature in winter is about 5 degrees lower than on the ground.

- What is the amount of investment in your project? How much do such objects usually cost in the world and how do they pay off?

The cost of building both skyscrapers of the Federation Tower complex is $1.2 billion. For comparison: the budget for the construction of the tallest tower in the world, the Burj Khalifa, amounted to $ 1.5 billion.

- What, in your opinion, is the uniqueness of the "Federation Tower"?

- "Federation Tower" is the highest status and unique way of life. It was here that for the first time in Russia the newest twin lift systems were installed, allowing the use of two cabins of high-speed elevators in one shaft, which increases the volume of passenger transportation by 1.7 times.

During the construction of the Federation Tower complex, almost all energy-efficient technologies used in world construction were applied.

A large transport hub will appear in the City, which will combine land transport, two metro lines, the Small Ring of the Railway, the Third Transport Ring, a helipad and provide access to river transport

MFC "Federation Tower" - a skyscraper of the Moscow International Business Center "Moscow-City". Recognized as the tallest building in Europe and Russia. Includes two towers: "West" and "East" (62 and 97 floors), united by a 6-storey stylobate, where offices and infrastructure facilities are located. 67 most modern elevators deliver to the height of residents and guests of the multifunctional complex "Federation".

Within the walls of the complex there is a shopping gallery, a wellness club with a swimming pool and a yoga studio, restaurants, a cinema and residential apartments ranging from 80 to 1500 square meters. m. On the top five floors of the eastern tower there are two-level penthouses with ceilings up to 5.5 meters.

Federation Tower is located in the center of Moscow City. At 620 meters from the IFC is the metro station "Mezhdunarodnaya", at 550 - "Vystavochnaya". At 340 meters - exit to the TTK. Expocentre, Krasnaya Presnya Park and Presnenskaya Embankment are located nearby.

The cost of apartments is from 22,800,000 to 991,000,000 rubles.

- one of the greatest achievements that the infamous businessman Sergei Polonsky is proud of. Marketing slogans provoke arrogance among buyers: “look down on Moscow”, “towers broadcast your status more clearly than full-time PR people”, “a level above others”, and so on. The positioning of the complex reveals the features of its author. Another Sergey is directly related to the project - not scandalous, but also very famous Sergey Tchoban.

Both towers - the tower and the tower "West" - were surrendered. This long-awaited event took place in 2017. The object was called the highest and most expensive long-term construction in Moscow. Construction took a long 14 years (an average of a month per floor). Was it worth it? Perhaps it was worth it - the phrase is inscribed in history. After the Lakhta Center, the facility is the highest in Europe in terms of height, but overtakes it in terms of the number of floors. Another record is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records: 14 thousand cubic meters were spent on pouring a concrete slab lying at the base of the towers. m of concrete.

Lots of technological features. Here are some of the most understandable ones: the glazing of buildings is close to the parameters of the heat resistance of a brick wall; the twin elevator system was used, in which there are two cabins in one shaft, which increases the throughput by almost 2 times; almost all energy-efficient technologies used in world construction have been applied.

Should I buy apartments for permanent residence? Yes, you can think about it if you have enough funds and a desire to be above others. This option is for you if you and Moscow City are almost synonymous. It is assumed that the residents and work here, in the "City". That is, you need to be completely saturated with the spirit of the metropolis and office and business life. Staying here is associated with power and financial power, on the one hand, and nervousness and fussiness, on the other.

In the "City" there are lower skyscrapers (according to marketers, not so prestigious). You can also consider. The price tag exceeds 40 million rubles. offers apartments at a more affordable price - from 18 million rubles.

October 30, 2013

In general, here, in Moscow City, it is good to carry excursions of provincials. It is unlikely that many will ever be able to fly to New York, but here you are - your homegrown skyscrapers. The spectacle, of course, is impressive, although, according to a number of citizens, these skyscrapers spoiled the panorama of Moscow.

On the other hand, everyone who has been to MFC "Federation Tower" note the beautiful view of the city, which opens from the restaurant, which is located on the 62nd floor of the West Tower. This complex is also famous for the world's largest thermometer. The length of the thermometer scale is 106.5 m. Well, let's not forget that the height of the tower is the tallest building in Europe.

It is very prestigious to live in this premium-class house. The apartments here are luxurious, fully meeting the high requirements of the luxury segment. As for buyers, it is convenient to have apartments in such a building for those business people who work directly in Moscow City. But for family living, this MFC, in our opinion, is not well suited. And there are a number of reasons for this.

The ecological situation in the skyscraper area is not the best. There are no green areas nearby, except for the Krasnaya Presnya park. The movement of vehicles in the microdistrict is very intensive, next to the interchange of the Third Ring Road.

There is social infrastructure in the neighboring quarters of the Presnensky District, but it is unevenly developed and there are not enough social facilities within walking distance. There is, of course, an option to use social facilities located on the other side of the Moskva River in the Dorogomilovo area, where you can go over the pedestrian bridge. Distance from MFC "Federation Tower" to Kutuzovsky prospect about a kilometer. The social infrastructure in that area is very well developed.

In the transport plan, walking distance to the metro can be noted as an absolute plus. But as far as vehicles are concerned, there is no escape from problems. Difficulties during rush hours invariably arise on Presnensky embankment, and on the 1st Krasnogvardeisky passage, and on the Third Ring Road. And the situation is not expected to improve, given that intensive construction in the Big City continues.

Company "Potok8" who built the complex "Federation Tower", is well known in the capital's construction market. A large number of commissioned objects with a fairly decent quality allows us to hope that "Federation Tower" built reliably, and this, you see, is very important, given the specifics of skyscrapers.

Competitors "Federation Towers" enough in Moscow City. Among the currently relevant proposals, we highlight skyscrapers, "IQ - quarter", etc.

"Federation Tower" - a complex of two skyscrapers on a single stylobate, dressed in glass and connected by a conical needle. The project was developed by Sergei Tchoban together with the German architect Peter Schweger.

Sergey Tchoban is a Russian and German architect working in various cities in Europe and the Russian Federation. Member of the Union of German Architects (BDA), the Union of Architects of Russia and the Union of Artists of Russia, academician of the Moscow branch of the International Academy of Architecture, and honorary academician of the Russian Academy of Arts, winner of architectural awards and participant in various architectural exhibitions.

Peter Schweger is a German architect. He received his professional education at the Polytechnic Institute in Budapest and the ETH Zurich (ETH Zuerich). Winner of the competition for the design of the Higher School of Vocational Training in Hamburg, In 1964 he founded an architectural workshop with Schweitz Graf, which in 1987 received the name "Architekten Schweger + Partner". He manages an architectural office with branches in Berlin, Hamburg and Munich, as well as Dubai. His most famous buildings include the Main Tower in Frankfurt am Main, the Treptowers in Berlin, the Institute for New Technologies in Karlsruhe and the historic building of the German Bundesrat in Berlin.

Today, the Federation Tower in Moscow City is the tallest skyscraper in Europe. The complex includes two towers united by a common stylobate. Triangular modern buildings can be considered the standard of architectural elegance. The Vostok Federation Tower has 95 floors. Its height is 374 meters. The West Federation Tower is much lower, only 242 meters. There are 63 floors here.

Federation Tower: height and prestige

It is quite natural that the tallest building in Europe attracts everyone's attention. This unique location not only houses the highest-rise restaurant with the highest-rise fitness club, but also the highest-rise apartments and office space.

Designers have taken care not only of modern design, but also of comfort. Panoramic glazing is made of a material whose surface reflects the sun's rays. Due to this, the building does not heat up.

In the Towers "East" and "West" of the Federation complex, 62 high-speed elevators work non-stop. This allows you to quickly get to any part of the building or beyond.

The complex has everything that a business person may need:

    Office premises of various layouts and areas occupy 191,000 sq.m;

    Comfortable modern apartments with a total area of 78 thousand sq.m;

Surface and underground parking for 6 thousand cars.

The stylabate part of the building is given over to shops and restaurants. Without leaving the Federation Tower in Moscow City, you can fully relax and get a full range of domestic and commercial services.

Who will be interested in the Federation Tower

The project of the Federation Tower is so interesting that it attracts the attention of not only business people, but also representatives of show business. Not everyone can afford to buy or rent a house here. At the same time, interest in the Federation Tower of the Moscow-City complex is always very high. It is prestigious to live or have an office in such a place. Being in the very center of the capital, you can get everything you need without even leaving the building. Excellent transport interchange is convenient for business people who have offices on the territory of the Federation Towers "East" or "West" and for their potential clients. From here you can quickly go to the Third Ring Road, Kutuzovsky Prospekt and Zvenigorodskoye Highway. It won't take long to get to Belorussky railway station or Sheremetyevo airport. Access roads from Presnenskaya Embankment and Krasnogvardeisky passage are also convenient. It's easy to get here by metro. In the immediate vicinity there are two stations at once, Business Center and International.

Office premises and apartments for tenants are attractive, here, if desired, you can find small office premises or rent an entire floor. The East and West Towers of the Federation are also interesting for investors. Real estate on the territory of MIBC Moscow-City will only grow in value over time. Offers of such a plan in the center of the capital are limited, and there is always a demand for luxury real estate. Considering where the Federation Tower is located, the investment here is fully justified.
