Maximum score per essay

When assessing literacy (K7-K10), the volume of the essay should be taken into account. The assessment standards indicated in the table are designed for an essay of 150-300 words. If the essay contains less than 70 words, then such work is not counted and 0 points are scored, the task is considered failed.

When counting words, both independent and auxiliary parts of speech are taken into account. Any sequence of words written without a space is counted (for example, "after all" - one word, "yet" - two words). Initials with a surname are considered one word (for example, "M.Yu. Lermontov" - one word). Any other characters, in particular numbers, are not taken into account when calculating (for example, "5 years" - one word, "five years" - two words).
If the essay contains a partially or completely rewritten text of the review of task 24 and / or information about the author of the text by the examinee, then the volume of such work is determined without taking into account the text of the review and / or information about the author of the text.

When evaluating an essay with a volume of 70 to 150 words, the number of permissible errors of four types (K7–K10) decreases.

2 points for these criteria are given in the following cases:
K7 - there are no spelling errors (or one minor mistake was made);
K8 - there are no punctuation errors (or one minor mistake was made).

1 point for these criteria is given in the following cases:
K7 - no more than two errors were made;
K8 - one or three mistakes were made;
K9 - no grammatical errors;
K10 - no more than one speech error was made.

The highest score according to the K7–K12 criteria is not given for a work of 70 to 150 words.

If the essay is a paraphrase or a completely rewritten source text without any comments, then such work for all aspects of the test (K1-K12) is estimated at 0 points. If the work, which is a rewritten or paraphrased source text, contains fragments of the text of the examinee, then only the number of words that belongs to the examinee is taken into account during the check. A work written without relying on the text read (not on this text) is not evaluated.

In accordance with the Procedure for conducting the state final certification for educational programs of secondary general education (order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia dated December 26, 2013 No. 1400 was registered by the Ministry of Justice of Russia on February 03, 2014 No. 31205) “61. Based on the results of the first and second checks, the experts independently assign points for each answer to the tasks of the USE examination paper with a detailed answer ... 62. In case of a significant discrepancy in the scores given by the two experts, a third check is assigned. A significant discrepancy in scores is determined in the assessment criteria for the corresponding academic subject. The expert who carries out the third check is provided with information about the scores given by the experts who previously checked the examination paper.
A significant discrepancy is considered to be a discrepancy of 8 or more primary points between the sums of points given by the first and second experts for completing task 25 (for all 12 assessment positions). In this case, the third expert must give points only for those assessment items for which the points given by the first and second experts differ.

After checking the USE assignments in the Russian language, the initial score for their implementation is set: from 0 to 57. Each assignment is evaluated by a certain number of points: the more difficult the assignment, the more points you can get for it. For the correct performance of tasks in the USE in the Russian language, from 1 to 5 points are given, depending on the complexity of the task. At the same time, you can get from 0 to 24 points for an essay.

After that, the primary score is converted into a test score, which is indicated in the USE certificate. It is this score that is used for admission to higher educational institutions. Translation of USE scores carried out using a special scoring scale.

Also, according to the score for the Unified State Examination, you can determine the approximate grade on a five-point scale that a student would receive for completing tasks in the Russian language in the exam.

GOOD LUCK TO YOU,

GRADUATES!

At the end of May, 11th grade graduates will face a rather difficult test - USE in Russian language 2017. This exam is considered mandatory, the same as mathematics, so everyone will have to take it without exception. To date, the main task for eleventh graders is timely preparation for the test so that the certificate is not spoiled by a bad grade. In addition, a high score for the Unified State Examination in the Russian language opens the door to the most prestigious universities in the country for the future applicant.

Most students, assuming that the tests in the Russian language are not as difficult as mathematics or physics, do not prepare for the subject at all and, as a result, receive insufficiently high scores. It must be remembered that the exam covers not only materials for grade 11, but also topics from previous years of study. In addition, the exam includes such tasks that require extraordinary thinking. As you can see, the Russian language is not such an easy subject, and given the future, predicted for 2017, it will become even more difficult.

What should be prepared for?

The fact that tests in the Russian language are waiting for a number of innovations has been said more than once. For many years, scientists and teachers have been developing an optimal knowledge testing system that could reflect the real knowledge of students. In 2017, it is planned to introduce an oral part in the Unified State Examination in the Russian language. This has already been stated by Lyudmila Verbitskaya (head of the Russian Academy of Education).

At this stage, all the necessary transformations have already been developed. It remains only to understand how to rationally use them in this.

Until 2017, all students of general education schools took the Russian language in writing. The test form that was in the forms is, of course, a good thing, but it is not able to reflect the real knowledge of graduates, because they can simply guess the answer. But what about punctuation or spelling? Tests are not able to thoroughly show the literacy of the student.

The oral exam will help to identify gaps in knowledge, the ability to accurately express one's thoughts, put sentences out of words and conduct a narrative that is understandable to examiners.

In our time, the correct staging of speech is extremely important, especially in sectors of the economy. Any leader should be able to formulate tasks for subordinates, be able to express thoughts and convey their ideas to others. Just for this, every student must learn spelling, as well as learn the basics of oratory.

The oral block is far from all the changes that await the Russian language exam. In the upcoming 2017, officials intend to introduce a grading system for a control essay. Recall that at the moment, for the manifestation of creative abilities and the ability to logically build their own thoughts, the student received simply “pass” or “fail”.

Lyudmila Verbitskaya considers this an unfair approach, especially for those students who can show the level of their knowledge through an essay. Only the introduction of a clear assessment scale will help to clearly recognize the level of preparedness of the student and form a clear objective view of the exam.

Dates

Early exams will begin on May 25, 2017. Just during this period, eleventh-graders will be able to pass the Russian language. The main tests are scheduled for May 30. Retake for those who “flunked” the subject or want to increase their grade, there will be an opportunity to retake the exam on June 27th. The reserve days are April 15 and September 24.

Conducting the exam in the Russian language

To cope with all the tasks, students are given an hour. In the allotted time, it is necessary to solve all two blocks, which include 24 questions. The first block consists of questions that must be answered numerically or verbally. On the second form, students must write an essay on a given topic.

Evaluation scale

Back in 2015, for this test, you could get a “pass / fail”. Since 2016, points have appeared, the amount of which depended on the number of correct answers. From the table below, you can find out the exact number of points that you can get for a particular question.

The second part of the exam requires the student to show creativity and fluency in Russian. Note that essays are evaluated in a special way, so the examiner will not be surprised by grammar alone.

For a correctly completed second part of the exam, the student can earn 25 points. In general, for two blocks, the graduate will earn 57 points, to which points are added according to other criteria. Considering that the knowledge assessment system is 100 points, in order to understand what grade a student has earned, it is enough to refer to this scheme:

  • 0 - 24 - "two"
  • 25 - 57 - "troika"
  • 58 - 71 - "four"
  • from 72 - “five”

Note that the minimum number of points for admission to a university is only 36 points, but to obtain a certificate it is enough to score 24 points.

Materials for preparing for the exam in the Russian language

Now a mass of literature is published annually, which helps future graduates prepare for the exam. In addition, a lot of additional materials are provided for general access on the FIPI official website, namely:

  1. Demo version of the exam
  2. Task forms
  3. Training compilations
  4. Video consultations

Among the most optimal literature for preparation, it is worth highlighting the manual from the author Tsybulko I.P.
