HELIOS

O Calliope, a muse born of Zeus!
Praise me Helium: he was born by the hairy Eirifaessa
To the son of Gaia-Earth and the starry Sky-Uranus.
Eirifaessa, Hyperion's sister's wife
Took it, and the goddess endowed him with beautiful offspring:
Eos-Dawn with a rose-handed, curly Selene-Moon
And God-equal, not knowing tired of Helium-Sun.
He sends light from above to the immortal gods and people,
Ascending the chariot. From under the helmet they look golden
His terrible eyes. And he himself shining rays
All lights up. From the temples of the immortal heads fall
Hair is brightly shiny, framing a pleasant face,
The folds of fine and delicate clothes ...
Homer

Helios, Helium (H l i o z), whose very name contains radiance, brilliance, blazing of solar fire, belonged to the generation of titans, being considered the son of the titans Hyperion and Theia, brother of the goddess of the moon Selene and dawn - Eos. The Hellenic sun god is the most ancient pre-Olympic deity, giving life with its elemental power and punishing criminals with blindness. Being high in the sky, Helios sees the deeds of gods and people, most often bad. Helios "the all-seeing" is called to be witnesses and avengers. It was he who told Demeter that Hades had kidnapped Persephone.

He was imagined as a handsome man with a mighty body, dressed in a thin robe swaying by the wind, with sparkling terrible eyes, with flowing hair, covered either with a radiant crown or a sparkling helmet. Its appearance is surrounded by dazzling light and radiance. He dwells in a magnificent palace surrounded by the four seasons, on a throne of precious stones.

Every morning he appeared on a solar chariot drawn by four white, like snow, winged and fire-spouting horses (their names are Light, Shine, Thunder and Lightning). During the day, the god rushes across the sky in his chariot of fire, and in the evening he leans to the west, descends into the Ocean and in a golden canoe swims across the sea to the place of his rising. The next morning, foreshadowed by the pink-feathered goddess Eos, he reappears on the horizon.

On the land, Helios owned herds (seven herds of cows and the same number of sheep), which, under the supervision of two nymphs - Faetis and Lamptia (Shining and Shining), grazed on the island of Trinacia, which was later identified with Sicily. Every morning, ascending to the sky, Helios turned his gaze to Trinakia in order to saturate him with the spectacle of forever young animals, and the last thing he saw, descending into the Ocean, was them. And falling asleep on his soft bed, Helios knew that in the morning he would again see his animals roaming the emerald meadow. One can imagine the anger of Helios, when one day he missed several bulls. These pitiful little people who landed on his island together with Odysseus, under cover of night, thieves attacked and ate his handsome men. There was no mercy for them! Zeus, in response to the request of Helios, smashed Odysseus's ship with lightning.

From Helios they gave birth to the oceanid Perseid of the Colchis king Eetus, the sorceresses Kirk and Pasiphae, the wife of the king of Crete Minos; nymph Klymene - son of Phaethon and four daughters; Roda nymph - seven sons-heliads. The offspring of Helios were often distinguished by a daring disposition and a penchant for witchcraft chthonic powers. Some sources even call him the daughter of the goddess of sorcery and the mistress of ghosts, Hecate. Helios was often, especially in Hellenistic-Roman mythology, identified with his father Hyperion, and his sons were called hyperionids; in late antiquity - with the Olympian Apollo.

The peoples who were the first or the last to be touched by the rays of Helios were called Ethiopians. Their bodies were fraught with sunshine. Ethiopians enjoyed the favor of Helios all year round and therefore were considered the happiest of mortals. The gods dwelt with them at a time of year when the rest of the earth suffered from the cold, and they enjoyed the warmth, lush vegetation and the spectacle of evergreen fields.

There were two sunny countries of Eyi, where the children of Helios were settled: in the east, the king of the country Eyi Eet, in the west - the sorceress Kirka. Subsequently, eastern Eia was identified with Colchis. It was impossible to get to these countries either by sea or by air, since the floating gates that led into them slammed shut, crushing any ship and sea animal, and even a bird, unless, of course, it was the eagle of Zeus.

Every year on July 20, a holiday was held in the Greek city-states, dedicated to both Helios and the god of thunder Zeus.

In Roman mythology, Sol, also identified with Apollo, corresponds to Helios.

Bendida

Bendida · analogue of Selena, the goddess of the moon in Phrygia, located in the center of the peninsula of Asia Minor; in Attica in the Peloponnese, she was identified with Artemis, sometimes with Hecate and Persephone.

In Athens there were holidays, bendidias, when horse races were organized in honor of the goddess, horsemen galloped with torches from Athens and Perey, where there was a temple dedicated to Bendida.

Hesper

All that the dawn disperses, you collect,
Hesper, back:
You collect goats, sheep, and you take away your mother's daughter
Sappho

Hesper (E s p e r o z) · deity of the evening star, the most beautiful of the stars. Diodorus Siculus tells about the country of Hesperit, which was ruled by the brothers Hesper and Atlas. Hesperus gave his daughter to Hesperides to wife Atlanta, and she became the mother of the Hesperides. According to another version, Hesper is the son or brother of Atlanta, who observed the stars on the top of the mountain, then mysteriously disappeared and turned into a bright star. In Roman mythology, he was revered under the name of Lucifer.

The ancients associated with Hesper the planet Venus - one of the brightest celestial bodies visible from Earth.

Selena

Selena (S e l h n h) is the personification of the moon (Greek s e l a z, "light", "radiance") - the daughter of the titans Hyperion and Theia, sister of Helios and Eos, a beautiful girl in a long saffron-colored robe with a crescent moon on her white forehead.
When the swarthy goddess Nikta replaced the retiring pale-faced sister Hemera, to the joy of nature, a majestic chariot came out from under the horizon, which was attracted by unhurried bulls. They were ruled by Selena

The rays generated by her clouded gaze, falling to the ground, intertwined with each other in fabulous patterns and formed some kind of fantastic structures. When Selena appeared, the sea, seized with anxiety, rolled the waves to the shore with a noise. And there was no mortal on earth who did not experience an obscure longing and sadness with the appearance of Selena. At the will of Apollo, in Selena's hours, inspiration came to people with a subtle soul, and they glorified the midnight kingdom, scattering with the first rays of Helios. It seemed to these people that Selena herself is subject to the feelings that she awakens in mortals, and they told a story that no sane person would believe.

The youth Endymion lived in Elis. Zeus himself took him to Olympus for his beauty. Endymion was so beautiful that Hera did not remain indifferent to him. Noticing this, Zeus condemned Endymion to eternal sleep in the Latmiyskaya cave in Caria.

Once, accidentally throwing rays under the vault of the cave, I saw Selena Endymion and, struck by his pacifying beauty, lost her peace. Since then, at hours when she is not visible because of the clouds, the goddess, stopping the chariot, descended into the cave, gently bowed over the sleeping young man, kissed the closed eyes and uttered the words that poets give to their beloved. Endymion hears them, but, enchanted by Hypnos, is unable to raise his eyelids and respond to caresses. Therefore, Selena always yearns, and her longing generates the same longing among all living things. Dogs and wolves howl with their heads thrown back. People, seized with incomprehensible anxiety, do not find a place for themselves and sometimes do things that they themselves forget with the arrival of Helios.

Once Selena was seduced by Pan, giving her a herd of snow-white lambs for this.

Selena was identified with Artemis and Hecate (therefore, the words of spells were turned to her, wanting to attract a lover). It was believed that witchcraft manipulations are especially effective when Selena is in full radiance, that is, on a full moon.

TITON, TYPHONE

Titon (T iqwnoz) · deity of light, originally "noon" (Schol. Lycophr. 18), "beginning of the end of the day" (Schol. Hom. Od. V 1) and even "light, but already extinguished" (Hom. Od . V 1). Titon - son (option: brother) Laomedont (No. Il. XX 237), brother of Priam, father of Memnon and Phaethon, husband (option: son; Apollod. III 14, 3) Eos (Homer "Iliad", XI 1; Hes Theog. 984 next; Verg. Georg. I 447).

Like any woman, Eos was subject to the power of Eros. Seeing from her heavenly height Titon, the son of the Trojan king, she fell in love with him and took him to her pink tower at the edge of heaven and earth. Wanting to share happiness with Titon forever, Eos begged Zeus to grant him immortality, but due to the absent-mindedness characteristic of all lovers, she forgot to ask for eternal youth.

Time passed, measured by the monthly growth of Selene and the annual circulation of Helios, and although Eos gave him divine ambrosia and nectar, the beauty of Titon faded. On his forehead, Chronos cut deep wrinkles like a chisel. The once beautiful cheeks wrinkled. The sonorous voice became hoarse and rattling. I could no longer love Titon Eos. She retained only pity for him. Therefore, she did not throw him to the ground, as another cruel beauty would have done, but kept him behind the curtain in her mansion, trying to see as little as possible so as not to suffer from bitter memories.

Once the gods visited the tower, and, hearing from behind the curtain, a hoarse old man's breath, Zeus was ashamed that the gift Eos begged had become a source of suffering both for herself and for the unfortunate Titon. He took the human form from the old man and turned him into a cricket. Since then, the cricket has lived in old wooden houses and sings its dull rattling song.

From Titon she gave birth to Eos a beautiful son and gave him the Egyptian name Memnon. He became the king of the sun-loving Ethiopians - people with glowing faces, who lived at the southern end of the earth.

EOS

Young rose from the darkness with purple fingers Eos.
Homer

Eos (H w z) · the goddess of the dawn, daughter of the titan Hyperion and his wife Teia, sister of Selena and Helios. It was believed that Eos lived in distant Ethiopia, every day she travels through the silver gate and rides in front of the Sun, painting the sky pink. Eos sends its rays first to Olympus to notify the gods of the coming of a new day, and then to earth to wake people up. Eos precedes the appearance of Helios on the horizon. Warning the rising of the sun chariot, she washes the earth with dew, and her drops burn on the grasses and leaves like precious stones.

The first husband of Eos was the Titanide Astraeus. Their sons were the wind gods: Boreas, Not, Zephyr, and their daughters were the stars in the vault of heaven. Astraeus rebelled against Zeus and was cast into the underworld.

Then Eos had new lovers. Homer describes the goddess Eos, "rose-fingered", rising from her bed, where she rested with her beloved Titon, the most beautiful son of the Trojan king Laomedont, whom she abducted and took with her to Ethiopia, where she made him king. She asked Zeus for immortality for Titon, but forgot to ask for eternal youth: having grown old, he turned into an immortal cricket.

From Titon she gave birth to Eos a beautiful son and gave him the Egyptian name Memnon. He became the king of the sun-loving Ethiopians - people with glowing faces, who lived at the southern end of the earth. Memnon loved his sultry deserts and the mountains ascending to the sky, where the Nile, the breadwinner of Egypt originates, and therefore rarely visited foreign lands. But when he heard that the Trojans were defeated and that the Amazons who came from the north could not help them, he decided to support his uncle Priam. Under the walls of Troy, Memnon killed many enemies of the Trojans, but he himself fell at the hands of the mighty Achilles. The duel of the heroes, with bated breath, was watched not only by mortals, but also by the divine mothers of the fighting. Eos did everything to keep her Memnon alive. She gave him two winds that could carry him away in case of mortal danger. But Achilles' golden spear did not miss.

Eos turned with a prayer to the father of the gods, so that he would allow him to bury his son in his homeland. Zeus took mercy, and the winds carried Memnon's body to Ethiopia, where his mother gave him a magnificent funeral. According to another legend, Memnon was buried near Troy. The black smoke escaping from the funeral pyre took the form of birds, and the likeness of sharp wings, crooked beaks and claws flashed in the air. Having acquired flesh, the birds circled the fire three times and, dividing into two camps, entered into battle among themselves. Black fluff swirled over the ground, as if brought by the wind from the land of the Ethiopians, and shouts were heard, resembling someone else's guttural speech. And every year, no matter how many years have passed since that time, these black birds fly in to mark the death of Memnon with a bloody battle.

The inconsolable Eos, even to this day, at the hour of her appearance in the sky, continues to shed tears-dewdrops, unable to forget about her short-lived son. People did not forget about Memnon either. And since no one really knew where on the southern edge of the inhabited world lies the land of the Ethiopians ruled by Memnon, they were looking for traces of it in the Persian Susa, in Syria, and, of course, at the source of the deep Nile and Ethiopia, until they were found in Egypt. There during an earthquake in 27 BC. a stone fell off the twenty-meter statue of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, and since then, at dawn, strange lingering sounds began to be heard. The Greeks, who had not heard anything about any Amenhotep, immediately realized that this was Memnon, who groans, complaining to his mother Eos, as soon as she rises in the morning sky. Many specially came to Thebes to listen to the wonderful voice.

The Greek writer Philostratus describes this statue, called the "Colossus of Memnon", as follows: "Memnon" is depicted as a beardless youth with a face facing the sunrise, and he is sculpted of black stone with shifted feet ... as if he was still sitting, but already trying to rise ... At the touch of the ray, Memnon’s lips immediately open, and his eyes seem to light up with brilliance in response to sunrise, as is the case with sun-loving people. "

Aphrodite avenged Eos for sharing the bed with Ares, and instilled in her a constant desire, after which the rosy goddess kidnapped the hunter Orion, the hero Kefalus and Cleitus, the son of Melampod.

In Rome, the goddess of the morning dawn, corresponding to the Greek Eos, was called Aurora - Aurora (from aura, literally "pre-dawn breeze").

GODS OF THE WINDS
BOREY

Boreas · (B o r e a z), god of the north wind, son of the Titanids Astrea (starry sky) and Eos (dawn), brother of Zephyr and Nota. Its origin indicates the archaic nature of the deity and not its connection with the elemental forces of nature. Depicted as a winged, long-haired, bearded deity. The place of his abode is Thrace, where cold and darkness reign. A sign of the ancient demonism of Boreus is his werewolf - transformation into a stallion, which, together with the mares of Erichthonius, gave birth to twelve foals as fast as the wind. From marriages with Erinia and Harpy, Boreus also has horse offspring.

A number of myths connect Boreus with the kings of Attica. So, the myth of Apollodorus about the abduction by Boreus of Orifia, the daughter of the Athenian king Erechthey, speaks of this. Once, sweeping over Attica, Boreas saw Orifia and fell in love with her. In vain he asked a beautiful girl to become his wife. Denied Boreus and her father. Then Boreas was angry with them, because everything was subject to his power. He could uproot trees, shake the earth, raise huge waves, and now he had to humbly pray to mortals. Boreas flapped mighty wings, the age-old forests rustled. Crushing everything in its path, Boreas rushed to Athens, grabbed Orifia and flew away with her far to the north. So she became his wife and mother of two children. The sons of Boreas, Zeta and Kalaid, belong to the generation of heroes. Like their father, they personified the winds, their actions were swift and swift. Together with other heroes, the Boreads took part in the campaign of the Argonauts.

In Rome, the god Aquilon corresponded to the Greek Boreus.

Zephyr
Zephyr · (Z e f u r o z), one of the sons of Astrea (the starry sky) and the dawn of Eos, brother of Boreas and Nota, god of the west wind. With the harpy Gout, Zephyr gave birth to the horses of Achilles, famous for their speed. Known for its destructiveness, it was later presented as a gentle, soft wind; this Zephyr, at the behest of Eros, took Psyche to his domain. In later legends, Chlorida became his wife - ora, the personification of spring.

NOT
Not · (N o t o z), deity of the south wind, son of Astrea and Eos. Brother Boreus, Zephyra, Evra. It is usually depicted with a beard and wings. It brings with it a wet mist and is called "fast".

EVR
Evr · (E u r o z), deity of the southeast wind. While the other winds are the children of Astrea and Eos, Evra's origins are unclear. Evrus often damages ships, together with Noth and Zephyr, they caused storms. Evra's image is devoid of anthropomorphism.

EOL
Aeol · (A i o l o z), the son of the nymph Orseis and Ellina, the god of the winds who lived on the island of Aeolia. Father of six sons and six daughters. At Homer, Aeolus, the lord of the winds, presents Odysseus with a knotted sack with stormy winds, leaving Zephyr to guide him. However, Odysseus's companions untied the sack and brought on a terrible storm, which nailed their ship again to Aeolia, from where Aeolus was already driving Odysseus out.

There are ten answers to the question of what Aquilon is. Initially, this is a Russian-language tracing paper from the Greek name for the god of the north wind. The name is a thousand years old. The Romans, the bosom rivals of the ancient Greeks, in their own Pantheon considered the lord of invigorating cold air currents by the name of Boreas. The mentality of the ancient world allowed generalizations, therefore, the explored foreign territories in the direction of the Nordic were called Aquilon by the Greeks, and Hyperboreus by the Romans.

The favorite of the snow muses

The chronicle of the Hellenic period formed the basis of the educational list in civilized times. Therefore, myths, legends, legends with the names of the heroes passed inseparably from generation to generation. The classics of the literary genre of the 18th-19th centuries obliged to develop the metaphorical series in verse by using the names of Greek and Roman celestials. Mention and dedication to the lord of the whirlwinds is found in the verses:

  • the romance of E. A. Baratynsky;
  • Suns of Russian poetry by A. Pushkin;
  • collective author K. Prutkov;
  • satirist of the Danish Polish-German blood Peter Schumacher.

Moderately use the repository of knowledge about ancient countries. A relevant mention was found on the page of songwriter Tatyana Nenasheva. The poem of 2015 is dedicated to Sergei Yesenin and ends with the words:

He did not finish, he did not love,

Oh, how beautiful Shagane is!

The poet was killed by Aquilon,

Oh, you Shagane, Shagane!

Aquilon? What? Surely 50% of fans of the poetic genre will ask. But the other half are sure for sure: this is the north wind.

Laser gun

In the twentieth century, mythological names migrated into production use: people found it possible to call hyperboloids, building parts and organizations by the name of a pagan god. What is Aquilon for the XXI century, how popular is the word?

In the middle of the twentieth century, Soviet bright minds worked on the task of launching laser weapons into space. The result of the development was in 1984 a design for installation on a naval warship. The miracle of scientific and engineering thought was given the speaking name "Aquilon". Northern winds are unfriendly and destructive.

But the hyperboloid remained an experimental setup. The discovered technical flaws were not corrected in time. The first and last president of the USSR cut off funding for the topic.

Architectural servant

In Russia, most of the products and lines for its production have a dual purpose. Proper names also run between civil and military themes.

For example, in the construction industry, the discussed word is used. The term "aquilon" - what is architecture and construction? Imagine the outside of a window opening. The window is, as it were, recessed into the wall. The notches around the window are called slopes. To make the wall of the house look aesthetically pleasing, the slopes are decorated with planks. For hidden fastening of decorative strips, a special design is used - two corner strips nested into each other. The slope is inserted into the slot of the corner piece, a clamp is obtained.

The founders of construction firms are fascinated by the term. Many people call their companies that.

About Us

Choosing our center, registering for courses or ordering services, you choose an organization that specializes in distance learning and has been providing esoteric and psychological services for more than 10 years, in March we celebrated our anniversary. We started our activity in 2003, at that time many still did not know about the existence of the Internet, but we already successfully existed on the Internet. It just so happened that we became the first Internet resource that began to teach esoteric knowledge on the World Wide Web. This is how Aquilon became the leader in the Internet space!

It has been 10 years since we recorded our first website. In the beginning, we only taught 2 courses and provided several services. Our first Internet resource contained about 15 pages of text, and in those days we were visited by 10 people a day. And we were proud of the result! After all, even then we had clients and students.

Perhaps now it will seem absurd, but at the beginning of the century there was no information on the World Wide Web on how to create and promote sites, optimize pages, etc. And all those who wanted to create something, sailed into the sea of the Internet, as best they could, not knowing how to stay afloat. But we resisted!

It would seem that only 10 years, but during this time we have done a great job, we have created more than a dozen new sites.

Here are just a few of them:

Center for Esoteric Knowledge Aquilon www. akviloncenter. ru

Entertainment and astrological site www. love- horoscope. ru

site dedicated to teaching astrology www. astrologi. ru

esoteric distance learning courses www. all- esoterika. ru

women's trainings www. happy- marry. ru

site dedicated to numerology www. new- numerology. ru

family planning websites designed to help families with childbearing difficulties www. baby.akviloncenter.ru andwww. for- mam. ru

This is a selection of only the most popular sites - you must have visited at least one of them.

Now we provide more than 10 different kinds of services and teach more than 10 courses. Our sites contain about 3,000 pages, and about 30,000 people visit them daily. Over the years, we have received a huge number of letters. Our sites have been visited by over 35 million people.

Tens of thousands of people have used the services of our center. Hundreds of people have been trained remotely. We have received and almost every day continue to receive a large number of positive reviews (some of them) and letters of gratitude!

The Aquilon center employs specialists with vast teaching experience. In order to be professionals in their field, they sometimes received more than one higher academic education. They are constantly trained in order to keep abreast of modern methods and techniques and to be effective in their work. They know how to find an approach to each student, advise and provide information in an easy and accessible form.

Employees of "Aquilon" are professional psychologists and astrologers with extensive experience in conducting psychological trainings and courses. Their work is published in weekly publications: newspapers and magazines, you can see them on TV and hear on the radio, they teach in universities, as well as in private seminars and courses.

Our teachers can rightfully be called Esotericists with a capital letter. Believe me, most of those who consider themselves esoteric do not know even half of the things that the teachers of the center know and successfully teach.

When creating the training center, we set ourselves one important task - to create an online community that would unite the best specialists from all CIS countries. And to provide esoteric and psychological services to people of all countries and regions, even the smallest towns and remote villages, to all those who need it so much. At the same time, quality and an individual approach have always been an important criterion for us. And we did it!

I would like to note one important detail that significantly distinguishes our center from others. We present all the courses we teach in the mainstream and from the standpoint of psychology. We do not open our religion, do not call ourselves guru and do not promise the impossible. All our methods and techniques have been tried and tested many times and have shown excellent results. We use only effective, modern and efficient techniques.

We value our reputation, because it has been developed over the years of responsible work and by our good name - the name "Aquilon".

Why is our center called "AQUILON"?

According to one ancient legend, many centuries ago, representatives of the Aryan race migrated from Persia to the north of the mainland, and on the territory of the modern Urals they founded the city of AQUILON, which became the center of a powerful Aryan culture. Subsequently, some of the Aryans returned back, some moved further west (to modern Europe), and some remained on the territory of modern Russia, Ukraine, Belarus. It was from them that the Slavs originated.

Many years passed, time destroyed the ancient city, but for a long time Russia was called AQUILON. So Nostradamus, in his prophecies about Russia, most often uses the name "Aquilon", less often - "Borea" and "Glory", and the people inhabiting our country - Aquilonian and Hyperborea.

The Greeks and Romans had legends about the unusually highly developed science in this country, as well as about the happy life of its inhabitants. So Pliny the Elder - one of the most impartial scientists - tried to state only indisputable facts, refraining from any comments. This is what he literally reported in "Natural History" (IV, 26): "A happy people lives in Aquilon, which are called Hyperboreans, reach very advanced years and are glorified by wonderful legends. It is believed that there are the loops of the world and the extreme limits of the circulation of the stars. shines there for six months, and this is only one day, when the sun does not hide (as the ignorant would think) from the vernal equinox to the autumn, the luminaries there rise only once a year at the summer solstice, and set only at the winter. all in the sun, with a favorable climate and devoid of any harmful wind. Homes for these inhabitants are groves, forests; the cult of the Gods is managed by individuals and the whole society; there are no discords and all kinds of diseases. Death comes there only from satiety with life ... There is no doubt in the existence of this people. "

The Romans had a god of the north wind - Aquilon. In the Greek pantheon, Boreas corresponded to him - the son of the starry sky and the morning dawn. Depicted as a winged, long-haired, bearded deity.

Tradition says that it was our ancestors, the Aryan-Aquilonian, who laid the foundations of astrology and a number of other occult, esoteric sciences and used them for the benefit of their own people.

In memory of this, our esoteric center was named "AQUILON".
